Bio in english:

The ensemble FAUST was founded in 1990, by well-known musicians from the local Szabadka bands BOLID and OCTOPUS :

Tibor Cindrity (singer, composer, Serbian and Hungarian songwriter, and original solo vocalist)
Rudolf Vojnity (drummer, played in the Bolid and Octopus bands, one of the top ten of Yugoslavian drummers)
Drunken Mijátovity (guitarist, played in the Bolid an and Crna Vatra, the main composer of the ensemble). He left the band in 1995.
Róbert Szűcs (excellent bassist, played in many bands) He left in 1994.
Toni Szávevszki (solo guitarist, played with the group in 1992-1995).

Faust with two solo guitars played melodic Hard'n'Heavy music. They only played their own compositions at the concerts.

From the beginning, they performed on every Zajecaar guitar competition (Zaječarska gitarijada 1991-1996) with the great ensembles of the former Yugoslavia, and the audience always warmly welcomed them. In parallel with Yugoslavian performances, there were also major festivals in neighboring Hungary and various clubs with famous Hungarian celebrities.

In Hungary, three albums have been released in Hungarian and one in Serbian. On the album with the best Hungarian ensembles there is also a song of their own.

In 1991, at the Belgrade Jugodisk label, was released their first album: OLUJNI JAHAČ ( Rockernek születtem). In 95, the album VATRA (Föld porábol születtem) was released in Hungary with Serbian songs, from which a few hundred audio tapes were sent to Yugoslavia which were distributed throughout Serbia and Crna Gora among fans.

In 1996, new members joined the band. The vocalist Tibor Cindrity, continues the work with new musicians:
Szasa Szolga (guitarist, composer, writer)
Calling Kleno (bass guitarist)
Vládimir Miletin (solo guitarist, composer and songwriter)

Nemanja, Robert, Mario and Goran played alternately as drummers. Finally in 2001 Faust found their drummer: Attila Tóth.

In 2002 the boss of One Records (Belgrade, Serbia), Zoran Nestorović, signed a contract for their new album: NOVI SVET (ÚJ VILÁG), appeared on CD and MC.
For five years, they didn't play in Yugoslavia. They were skeptical about the two-day Hard'n'Heavy festival there in March 2002. Young and old audience liked them, and they realized that it's worth to play Rock music in Serbia again.

In May 2012, Tibor Cindrity and Mijatovity Dragan (original founding members and songwriters) met again and discussed the re-establishment of the band in order to revive the band in original lineup. Béla Bodrogi joined the re-formed band as a support and great help.

The team automatically went into studio and started to re-record albums Acélszív and Föld porából születtem with a more modern approach, but their goal was to keep the soul of the old songs.

In December 2012, Gyula Sindeles (bass) left the band and Mijatovity Dragan took over the role of a bass player, looking for the right person to join Faus as a bassist...

Their last album Paklenih 25 (in serbian) took place in December 2016.
